On Wednesday Facebook announced that the company will launch a new section of its social network dedicated to dispel inaccurate myths about Covid-19.

It's the company's latest effort to combat the spread of misinformation on a global scale and also highlight the importance of wearing a mask.

Facebook, which has nearly 3 billion monthly active users across its services, will have a new “Facts About Covid-19” section within its app and website where it will “debunk common myths about the pandemic,” Facebook said in a tweet.

Also, Mark Zuckerberg will conduct a live interview of Dr. Anthony Fauci on Thursday at 2pm PT, the company also announced.

We expect that this service will be rolled out very soon. What are your thoughts?
