BTS just dropped the name of their new single and fans are here for it

Stan Twitter erupted after the K-pop boyband, BTS announced that their new English single would be called ‘Dynamite’.

Fans had been eagerly awaiting a new song by all the seven members ever since the last album, ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ was released in February and the recent announcement gave fans exactly what they wanted.
On 27 July, 2020 Jimin, Jin and Jungkook held a surprise V live stream where they announced that they were preparing for a comeback song that would be released on 21 August,2020. However, it was only yesterday that the title of the song was released:

Later on in the V live, RM, the leader of the band stated that they were actually preparing to release a whole new album later this year but wanted to share the song with fans as soon as they could and hence were dropping it ahead of time.

RM said: “Due to the COVID-19 situation continuing there are a lot of you that may be having a hard time. We wanted to give a certain energy to you right away as well.”

Jimin added that a lot of their plans had fallen through because of the situation and that they were “discouraged” and “helpless”. However, he stated that the group wanted to try something they had never tried before and that’s how the song came into being.

After the last few English songs like ‘Mic Drop’ and ‘Waste it On Me’ were a hit in the K-pop fandom, fans could not have been more exited to hear of another English song from the boyband:

Some fans even got creative by designing twitter headers and mood boards.…

Some even are even suspecting that it may just be the song of the year….
