With 4.1M followers on the 'gram Murad Osman leads our list. This Russian photographer is one of the most influential artists on Instagram. Osman became world-famous with a very original idea that has created a trend many people try to emulate.

On his profile, you can see his hand holding his girlfriend hand, with amazing landscapes of all over the world as background. #followmeto is the hashtag that has become popular.

Mario Testino (@mariotestino)

Mario Testino is a Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer with over 3.7M followers.

He has worked for many brands such as Chanel, Estée Lauder, Gucci or Versace. His Instagram feed is an extensive mix of portraits photography, landscapes and his notable subjects including celebrities like Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell and Prince Harry. 

Chris Burkard (@chrisburkard)

Chris Burkard has over 3.5 million follows on Instagram and it's easy to understand why if you spend some time scrolling through his feed. He shares pictures of his adventures traveling the world - including stunning shots of mountain ranges, the night sky and outdoor trekking.   

Steve McCurry (@stevemccurryofficial)

An icon of photojournalism with decades of experience capturing the realities of different ethnicities, Steve McCurry famous for the photo "The Afghan girl" that appeared on the cover of National Geographic in 1985.

His Instagram account is a mandatory stop for those of us who love photography and photojournalism.

Hailing from New York with 1.9M followers, Brandon Woelfel has also made our list. He shoots luminous portraits (with a healthy dash of vintage, romantic vibes) and clearly enjoys playing with a range of colors inviting us to follow his Instagram account and enjoy his warm pictures.

David Guttenfelder (@dguttenfelder)

With a generous number of photography awards (including the World Press Photo) David Guttenfelder is a photojournalist and National Geographic Explorer, with a mixed photographic style which includes urban art, protest, nature, culture and history.

Snapshots that Guttenfelder catch with his mobile phone (which by the way is the device he uses exclusively for the images he posts in his Instagram) which exceeds over a million followers.

Ami Vitale is a photojournalist and documentary maker with 968K followers. Vitale dedicates her Instagram account to educating and motivating others about environmental conservation and animal rights issues. Her feed is full of impressive photographs of animals, landscapes and tribal life from all over the world.

Simone Brabante (@brahmino)

With more than 973K followers, Simone is one of the most successful photographers in his country. Check out his feed for whimsical shots snapped in romantic settings, within the countryside of Italy.
