Social media can be an excellent tool (if used correctly) when promoting your career, talent or business. But what about your poetry skills?

One influencer figured out a way to share his poetry with his followers on Instagram, and it has massively paid off.

Throughout the past few years Haroon Tahir (@HaroonTahir) has been sharing his work with over 20,000 of his followers on the photo, video and Story-sharing platform – and he’s recently published his first collection of poetry.

“Loved, Lost and Learned” juxtaposes his strikingly honest words with stunning imagery. The collection of his work features 91 poems and monologues and navigates the themes surrounding topics like mental health, self-love, gender roles, romance and heartache with simplicity and honesty.

“In an age where we’re so inundated with an ocean of content, I wanted to put out a body of work that was meaningful and positive that uplifts people and resonates with them on a deeper level,” Tahir said.

“I always wanted to create the perfect bedside book that is an easy read but layered with depth and meaning; this book exactly captures that whole spirit and I’m so excited to share it with the world,” he said.
