You Can Now Play Games When Watching Ads on Snapchat

Snapchat has rolled out a new movie preview ad format called a "trailer reaction lens," as part of a campaign for the upcoming Paramount Pictures film "Top Gun: Maverick."
According to MobileMarketer.com “…The AR lens lets Snapchat users see a preview for the film on their smartphone in a horizontal split-screen format while also recording their reactions with the device's front-facing camera.”
Paramount and Snapchat on Monday released the trailer reaction lens to users in U.S. and Canada; the update is bound to expand to the U.K, France, Germany, Brazil and Mexico over the next few days.
According to MobileMarketer.com “Snapchat users who want to see more action shots from the film can tap on a 'Watch Trailer' button to see a preview that's more than two minutes long.”
The photo and video sharing app will let Snapchatters send a recorded video directly to other Snapchat users or post it as a Story.
As per Social Media Today, “Snapchat is also rolling out new Leaderboard Games, which enable people to compete against their friends, both on and offline, with ongoing scores from connections added to the board.
The format will add another level of interaction to Snap's growing slate of games, which means the engagement rate can boost up.
