Ashley Strong wins James Charles' 'Instant Influencer' Reality TV Competition
Ashley Strong has been crowned the winner of the first season of James Charles' hit Realty TV competition 'Instant Influencer.'
The show which ran for four episodes in the first season was produced by YouTube Originals.
Six contestants competed to win the title of 'Instant Influencer' along with some other pretty sweet prizes- they would also receive $50,000, the opportunity to collaborate with James on his channel, and a $10,000 lighting and videography package.
The three contestants to make it to the season finale were Ashley, Benny Cerra and Kailin Chase. The trio had to each come up with a makeup look to not only impress James, but also two other judges: President of Anastasia Beverly Hills, Norvina, and celebrity makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic.
Over 500,000 people watched the finale and James took to Twitter to ask his fans if they would like to see a Season 2 sometime in the future.
THE FINALE I can't believe that #InstantInfluencer is officially over... this has been the best project of my entire life and I can't wait to see what the future has to hold. Who wants Season 2? pic.twitter.com/uEdeexg8yW— James Charles (@jamescharles) May 15, 2020
Ashley's winning look ,which was inspired by the concept of “stripping down fashion” to just its labels, was lauded by all the judges with Charles commenting that it's definitely a look he would want to recreate for his own Instagram.
Ashley took to social media to celebrate her win as she said, "My words will fail me so I'd like to save them for a later date...i just want to say thank you all and i love you. "
All episodes of Instant Influencer are available to stream via James Charles' YouTube Channel.
