Laptop Ban On Emirates Flights To US Lifted

With immediate effect!
Emirates, Electronics, NoBan

Great news for Emirates flyers this morning, as the electronics ban on the leading airline's fligths to the US has been lifted with immediate effect. Meaning passengers will once again be allowed to carry their laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices onto the aircraft. So the next time your flying to the States, those Game Of Thrones reruns can come with you.

"Effective immediately, the electronics ban has been lifted for Emirates' flights from Dubai International Airport to the US. Emirates has been working hard in coordination with various aviation stakeholders and the local authorities to implement heightened security measures and protocols that meet the requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security's new security guidelines for all US bound flights. We would like to express our gratitude to the US and local authorities for their support and thank our customers for their understanding and patience during the last few months when the ban was in place" an Emirates spokesperson said.

Levelling out the playing field, the announcement comes after local competitiors Etihad Airways were exempted from the ban earlier in the week.
