Here’s How You Can Watch the Live Launch of the Emirates Mars Mission

In just over one day’s time, the UAE will make history with the launch of the ‘Hope Probe’, the first Arab Mission to Mars. 

The Emirates Mars Mission “Hope Probe” will be the first probe to provide a complete picture of the Martian atmosphere and its layers when it reaches the red planet’s orbit in 2021. It will help answer key questions about the global Martian atmosphere and the loss of hydrogen and oxygen gases into space over the span of one Martian year.

Viewers can watch the live stream via the official website.

The launch is taking place at 12.51am (UAE time) on Wednesday 15th July. However, coverage will start before that.

The live stream is available in English and Arabic, and has options for with or without commentary.

Currently, final preparations are under way at the launch site for the UAE Mars Mission in Japan’s Tanegashima Island. Viewers can catch all the action by following the official Instagram page.
