Digital Games Conference MEA returns to a physical event this summer for the first time since 2019 and will feature games industry legend Peter Molyneux OBE as its keynote speaker, along with a variety of other names from across both the regional and international games development and esports sectors.
Molyneux – the creator of multiple iconic gaming franchises, from Fable and Black & White to Theme Park and Dungeon Keeper – will talk about his award-laden forty-year career at the two-day event, taking place at Warehouse Four on the 15th and 16th of June in Dubai. You can buy your tickets here.
All attendees will also have the opportunity to win an Xbox console by beating the highest score in a special gaming challenge at the event, set by some of the UAE’s biggest streamers.
The core themes at this year’s DGC are indie development, mobile gaming, regional esports, and ‘beyond gaming’ – a look at the non-traditional gaming brands that are making major moves in the sector.
The stellar lineup includes international and regional speakers from the likes of Riot Games, TikTok, NASR Esports, Yalla Esports, Tamatem Games, Geekay, LVL Group, Bravado Gaming, the UN, and many more. Find out more about our speakers here and check out the event agenda.
Dubai Media City and in5 are the Strategic and Ecosystem Partners for this edition, with the event also including a special session from Dubai Media City Managing Director Majed Al Suweidi, focusing on how the company is supporting the Emirate’s burgeoning gaming ecosystem.
