PlayStation Arabia host Abdulkareem gives you an exclusive glimpse of their future generation console that launched in the Middle East on November 19th, 2020.
As a part of their Play Has No Limits Campaign, PlayStation Arabia took over the iconic Burj Al Arab helipad to showcase the first official unboxing of PlayStation 5 in the Middle East.

Abdulkareem starts off the video with a brief lowdown of the PS5: the most notable feature he mentions is PS5’s new DualSense Wireless controller which offers immersive haptic feedback, dynamic adaptive triggers and a built-in microphone, all integrated into an iconic design.Â
After describing the PS5’s new features, Abdulkareem begins welcoming special guests to the broadcast:
The first guest segment is a zoom-call with Bahrain-based Hakam Karim [known online as Hakoom] – a Guiness World Record holder and PlayStation’s Number 1 trophy hunter. Karim shares his journey as a professional gamer and how he became a successful trophey hunter. Karim and Abdulkareem also discuss how backwards compatability works on the PS5.Â
After finishing his segment with Karim, Abdulkareem introduces social media influencer Ahmed AL Nasheet – who gives his first impressions on the PS5’s hardware and dual sense feature.Â
Faisal AlSaif from Tech Pills, Mohammed Albisimi from True Gaming, Ahmed Alkayadi from VGA4A, and Khalid Al-Mutari from Gamer Snack are then brought on for a virtual discussion where they further pick apart the game console’s hardware.Â
The most notable guests are Global Beauty entrepreneur Huda Kattan [@hudabeauty] and her gamer daughter Nour – who participate in the PS5 official unboxing. Both were very excited to be part of this iconic moment in PlayStation Arabia’s history.Â
