Jaclyn Hill releases her First Core Collection to her Jaclyn Cosmetics Line.

The influencer’s new 26-piece makeup collection already has sold-out pieces 2 days after launch.

Jaclyn Hill releases her First Core Collection to her Jaclyn Cosmetics Line.

Jaclyn Hill – the founder of Jaclyn Cosmetics – launched her 26-piece First Core Collection online on March 2nd and across Ulta Stores on March 6th. The collection includes a blush-bronzer duo and a few relaunches from her 2019 Limited Edition highlighters.

After experiencing product sell-outs within days of its launch, Hill took to Instagram to thank her fans for their incredible support:

“Thank you so much for yesterday!!! It was my first core launch and we got to celebrate together as a team in my office for the first time! You guys never cease to amaze me with your undying support!! Several items sold out yesterday but everything will be restocked & will be available at @ultabeauty this Sunday!!!!!”

Hill also revealed that – due to the pandemic –  she shot and filmed the collection’s entire campaign right from her home.

This launch is almost a decade in the making: Hill started her YouTube channel 9 years ago – rising to fame with her stunning makeup tutorials. Over the years – both celebrities and brands have taken notice of Hill’s raw talent: in 2017, Hill filmed a “Get Ready with Me & Kim Kardashian’ video – one of her many celebrity YouTube collaborations. She has also partnered with companies such as Becca Cosmetics and Morphe to create her Champagne Pop Highlighter and Jacyln x Morphe palette – both of which were instant successes in the beauty community.

Hill eventually started her own cosmetics company – Jaclyn Cosmetics – that has been a huge hit amongst her fans and regularly sells out within minutes of launch. Despite her success, Hill has had her fair share of controversy. Most notably, she received criticism for releasing low-quality lipsticks under her brand – prompting allergic reactions and harsh video reviews. Her YouTube video ‘My Lipsticks’ tastefully addressed the backlash – serving as a good example to influencers on how to professionally handle online criticism and controversy.
