Marques Brownlee – a 27-year-old American Tech YouTuber – will be returning for a second season of the YouTube Originals series Retro Tech on April 13.
Retro Tech is co-produced by Vox Media Studios and is a spin-off of Brownlee’s Dope Tech video series – where he tests super cool technology and discusses them on his personal YouTube channel. This Daytime Emmy-nominated show will feature renowned tech guests such as Bill Gates, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Gali Russell, Austin Evans, Michael Gregory, and Sara Dietschy.
The first season aired in 2019 and consisted of 6 episodes where Brownlee reviewed vintage tech products and highlighted the impact of these products on today’s modern society- including its effect on pop culture.
Season 2 will analyze tech predictions made in the past and how they have evolved over the years. The show is set to launch on Brownlee’s YouTube channel – with premium members having access to exclusive bonus clips from the series.
