The partnership was first launched in May 2020 and aimed to help Shopify merchants easily upload their shop catalogs or feeds onto Pinterest. According to Shopify’s “Future of Commerce 2021”, 84% of respondents have purchased from online stores since the COVID-19 pandemic began which has in turn led to a 14x increase of Pinterest’s catalogs and helped small businesses and Shopify merchants to reach a larger audience on Pinterest.
By installing the Pinterest Shopify app, merchants can quickly and easily upload product catalogs, publish Pins for items on sale, track performance and reach people with campaigns, all from your Shopify interface.
