When legendary Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Riyadh with his family and started playing for Al-Nasr early this year, he was projected to make hundreds of millions, not just from his salary as a player, but also through brand deals and sponsorship. The first of many potential brand deals has arrived with his long-term partner Georgiana’s recent appearance in an advert for the Saudi perfume brand LaVerne.

The campaign consisted of Rodriguez answering candid questions about her new life in Saudi Arabia, and experiencing Ramadan in the kingdom.
Rodriguez said “I feel very safe in this country and really appreciate its family values” in the dazzling video posted across social media this past week. Georgina also mentioned she enjoys the country’s incredible nature and desert, stating “I felt very happy to be able to connect with this heaven on Earth. The power and magic that is in the Saudi desert is incredible.” She was pictured enjoying the natural heritage of Saudi Arabia’s desert many times before with her partner Cristiano Ronaldo and their kids. When asked about Ramadan, Rodriguez answered “It feels very special to me to be able to experience Ramadan in its place of origin.”
In the campaign advert that is promoting the label’s new scent, Blue Laverne, the Netflix star mentions that the new fragrance gives her the serenity to feel empowered and strong. Rodríguez loves the Blue Laverne scent and she confirms and describes it as intense and powerful.

It is no surprise that Georgina Rodriguez was chosen to represent this brand due to her immense following. Not only is she the long-time partner of an international football superstar, but she also has been building a career as an influencer for a long time, amassing a following of almost 48 million people on Instagram. She is also the star of the hit Netflix show I Am Gorgianna.
