TikTok has just created a feature that would allow you to get a shoutout from your favorite creator. The new option called ‘Shoutouts’ would allow fans to pay to have platform stars send them a personalized video message.
As of now, the feature is fairly limited as you can only request from certain creators in particular regions, however, it is likely that TikTok will work to expand the feature.
So how much does it cost to get your favorite creator to make you a personalized video?
According to SocialMediaToday: “Well it depends on what they want to charge – based on the above example, at 100,000 TikTok coins, that’s around $US1800 at present. Which is pretty steep – but then again, the amount is variable, and some people will probably pay whatever it takes to be ‘seen’ by their favorite stars.”
