YouTube Launches Content Creator Studio Space in Dubai

Dubai vloggers and content creators, get excited!

Yesterday YouTube launched YouTube Space Dubai (a.k.a. “The Space”) in Dubai’s Studio City. The production facilities and office – the first of its kind in the region – will provide support, tools and studio space for local YouTubers and video fans.

YouTubers with over 10,000 subscribers to their channel will have free access to The Space’s facilities, and those with a minimum of 1,000 will be able to attend free workshops and classes. 

According to The National creators that want to make the most of the space will have access to two studios, two editing suites, a production room, workshop space, communal areas and a ready set that will change themes on a quarterly basis. 

The Space is currently undergoing a soft launch and access to the facilities are limited, but after Ramadan it plans to be fully functional.

Other major cities like London, Tokyo, Mumbai, Paris, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles and Toronto have YouTube spaces for their local creators, so it’s only fitting that Dubai is now part of the club – especially considering the MENA region is the second highest global consumer of YouTube videos.
