Kate Hudson (41) expressed a want to spend more time with her siblings in 2021. The actress appeared on her Sibling Rivalry podcast with brother, Oliver Hudson. She opened up about wanting to reconnect with her estranged father’s other kids.
She actress stated: “You know what I’ve been thinking about lately? Dad,” Kate said when talking about New Year’s resolutions. “I’ve been thinking about our sisters that we don’t spend any time with and our brother…brothers. We’ve got four siblings we don’t spend any time with.”
She continues: “I was thinking about how everybody’s getting older,” she continued. “I just had this moment of, it would be nice to connect a little bit, especially with my sisters. We’ve been talking so much about sibling relationships and distraught relationships or good relations, and we’re sitting here like we have the best family, we’re so great.”
“And yet we don’t ever acknowledge the fact that we have four other siblings. Four. So I’ve been thinking about the Hudsons. Thinking it’s important that we reach out to all of our siblings and maybe connect with them a little bit.”
Goldie Hawn, Kate and Oliver’s mother, was married to American musician, Bill Hudson. While Kate and Oliver have three other siblings, it appears that they are only close to each other. Bill, Kate, and Oliver have made some exchanges in the past. In 2015, Bill expressed that he did not consider Oliver and Kate to be his children anymore.
