TikTok has just made connecting with your favourite creators significantly easier. With the launch of the new Q&A option, users can ask questions to any creator that be answering in later videos.
TikTok’s new Q&A feature
Creators can decide whether or not they want to turn on the Q&A feature. When turned on, a small Q&A icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the comments section. Upon clicking the icon, users can ask the creator any questions.
Creators will be able to use the questions as prompts for future videos. The feature is a unique way to connect fans and their creators. SocialMediaToday reached out to TikTokr regarding the new update and got the following response:
“The Q&A; feature in video and LIVE is in testing, and we’re aiming to roll it out to more users with Creator Accounts in the coming weeks. While in testing, this will only be available to creators with public Creator Accounts that have >10K followers and have opted in/turned on the feature in their settings, as well as some safelisted creators from our Creative Learning Fund program. All viewers will be able to submit questions.”
