TikTok has a lot of brands and marketers confused. They understand the platform is a favorite with the Gen-Z demographic, but many can’t wrap their head around how to make the most of it when it comes to showcasing their brand’s service and/or product.

The platform saw a rise in 2019, as it became one of the most downloaded apps within Apple’s app Store. It now has around 500 million monthly active users worldwide and registered more than 1.1 billion users as of March 2019.

Going into 2020, we’ll see more brands cultivating a presence on the platform.

The growth in Stories isn’t seen among consumers, but various businesses use this feature to market.
