Background

Born in the UK, raised and educated in Oman as well as around the world, H.E Basma is truly a modern multi-cultural princess we look up to. Her educational background started in Jordan where she finished her undergraduate studies with a BA in Mental Health. She worked at the university hospital and continued her professional training at Harvard, Michigan University, King’s College in the US, and in Kent! Afterward, she moved to Australia to proceed with her masters. Having an impressive educational background, Basma opened the first mental health clinic in Oman in 2011 called Whispers of Serenity; a clinic focused on having a holistic approach to mental well-being.

Work

Basma has made a name for herself in the gulf on social media by educating and promoting non-traditional forms of psychotherapy to her thousands of followers. Her holistic approach and informative information help many people become aware of their own mental state of mind, well-being, and methods to deal with issues. She actively works with Notalone Oman, a mental health service provider to Whispers of Serenity, by supervising social campaigns. In addition, she advocates for women entrepreneurs by having collaborated with Meathany Boutique as well as young artists by sponsoring Stal Gallery in Oman.
