Nina Ubhi is known as a leading celebrity makeup artist based in the Middle East. Having traveled globally with her work for her clients, Nina specialises in bridal, glam, event, fashion, editorial makeup, and more.
Background
At the age of 16, Nina had a mission when she launched her career in the UK’s capital city, London. She quotes on her website that she wants to “inspire makeup enthusiasts with an artistic, ‘brow raising’ approach to beauty” wanting to promote authenticity in her work and flawless beauty. Over the past few years, Nina and her husband Bobby have grown the business rapidly and are able to launch their own cosmetic collection for Nina Ubhi’s clientele and social media fans. The brand stems from the philosophy that ‘beauty should be deeply rooted in ethical values, ensuring that honesty, integrity, and professionalism is at the core of everything they do.’
Work
Nina has worked with and done makeup for Charlotte Tilbury, Victoria Beckham, Olivia Culpo, Amanda Cerny, Laura Govan, Cat Sadler, Joyce Bonelli, Mario Dedivanovic, and more. Not afraid of a challenge, Nina likes to push boundaries, celebrate diversity and work with every woman to give them the confidence to express themselves.
Having started in the industry as a Beauty Editor of Asian Woman Magazine, Nina then went on to become the Beauty Editor and Official Hair and Makeup Artist for her own brand and the Creative Director of Nina Ubhi Cosmetics. Not only do we get to learn the latest makeup techniques from makeup artist Nina, but also attend workshops to learn first-hand artistry skills.
