He has been referred to as one of the finest entrepreneurs in the region, with many successful businesses under his belt. Saygin is also the Founder of Sukar.com, which has been acquired by Souq.com.
Background
Saygin Yalcin was born in Germany to Turkish Immigrants. Saygin is based in Dubai, and so are his businesses. He got his MBA in General Management, Economics, Marketing & Sales Force Management at TAM – Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. He also studied at the Darla Moore School of Business and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Saygin was also into football during his school years. He played for the German junior league A-Junioren Bundesliga.
Work
Saygin worked for companies including BMW, Capgemini and L’Oreal. He began his entrepreneurial journey in Germany and then moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he founded Sukar.com. Sukar.com was sold to Souq.com, making him a partner. SellAnyCar.com was founded later. Saygin also owns Carnab, another car-selling business.
Saygin has a YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers. He enjoys making content for his audience that is informative and fun. The entrepreneur was also an Advisory Board Member and Academic Lecturer of Entrepreneurship at the Canadian University of Dubai. Saygin is also a bestselling author with his book “My children will be born rich”. The book was written to “teach you how one man’s concept developed into the most successful e-commerce company in the Middle East”. Saygin is a successful businessman mentioned in the 40 under 40 list as one of the most influential young people in business by Fortune Magazine.
