Charli D’Amelio defended Kouvr Annon over a body-shaming video made about her
A Tik Tok video showing pictures of Kouvr Annon’s weight gain with the lyrics of the video saying “shawty got fat” was slammed by Charli D’Amelio.
The video amassed over 1.7 million views before it was deleted.
Charli, 16 commented on the video and said: “This is so incredibly rude, Kouvr is one of the most kind hearted people I know and she does not deserve this at all. This video is so disrespectful.” She also added that body shaming was “disgusting and disrespectful” in a tweet.
i can’t understand why some people think it’s okay to talk about someone’s looks, weight, sexual identity, etc in a negative way this can be hurtful to not only the person you are making fun of but also the people that look like or identify with what you are saying is a “problem”

Kouvr,20 even commented on the video and said: “Hey! Instead of bringing others down for the way they look how about we focus on bigger issues in the world.”
She also took to Twitter to tell her fans about her struggle with her body image and urged them to be conscious of other people’s feelings.

James Charles faces backlash over new Tik Tok video using classical Indian music
Twitter users were quick to bash the 22-year-old YouTube star, James Charles for using a classical Indian song in the background of a recent Tik Tok video with a funny filter.
Although James Charles had not started the Trend Twitter users felt that James was making a mockery of Indian culture. They felt that the trend as a whole was offensive as classically trained singers need rigorous practice to perfect the art.
People have started to tweet “unfollow James Charles” once again. A twitter account even called the video “casual racism”:

Beauty influencers Cole Carrigan and La Demi launch the first beauty creator house
Cole Carrigan, 22 and La Demi, 25 had officially launched their new creator house, The Glam House Beverly Hills on 12 August 2020.
Cole, the co-founder of ‘The Glam House’ said that the house would be hosting an open casting call for beauty gurus all over America and would welcome every race, gender and size. He also stated that the house would not only dwell into makeup but also lifestyle, fashion etc.
In a YouTube video announcement, he said: “I feel like in the beauty community everyone is in their own head and competing with each other and no one wants to see each other win which is the one part that I don’t like. I do think that ‘The Glam House’ can be a really strong foundation for the entire beauty community to come together.”
La Demi also said that the house would give fresh new faces in the beauty industry a platform to showcase their work and interact with other beauty content creators within the industry.
