Facebook is urging Page owners to move their ‘Our Story’ description to the ‘Additional Information’ category. The social media platform is going to be removing the ‘Our Story’ subheading that was created in 2017 to provide businesses with a section to talk about their brand and why it was created.
The ‘Our Story’ section was especially helpful for companies to be able to give a sense of their company culture, what they stand for, how they started, etc.
Instead, Facebook is urging businesses to move this information to the ‘Additional Information’ section of their Facebook page. The change means that business owners must manually go move their description if they want to keep it for public consumption.
To make the appropriate changes you can go to:
‘Settings’ > ‘Page Info’ and then edit the ‘Additional Information’ section.
