Ascia is the latest influencer to launch a high-profile makeup collaboration.

Kuwaiti Influencer Ascia Collaborates With Faces Beauty to Launch Skin-Care Infused Highlighter

Ascia – a Kuwaiti fashion blogger, model and designer – has announced the launch of a new skin care-infused highlighter in collaboration with Faces – a leading beauty omni-retailer in the Middle East.

The influencer started her blogging career in 2012. Three years later, she started a YouTube channel “The Hybrids / Ascia” with her husband Ahmad –  launching them into social media stardom. The joint YouTube channel has 268k subscribers while Ascia’s personal Instagram has 2.6 million followers..

Her authentic style and unique approach to fashion and lifestyle topics have attracted large corporations such as Gucci, Dyson, and YSL Beauty to partner with her. Most notably, Ascia’s rise to social media stardom has helped her co-found Seoul Kool – a Korean inspired skin-care brand that reflects her own difficult journey achieving perfect skin.

Following her social media success, Ascia’s collaboration with Faces is the influencer’s latest achievement. The influencer announced on her Instagram that the product – ASCIA Liquid Gems Highlighter Drops – is now available on Face’s website:

Ascia initially announced the collaboration on Instagram in January: “So excited to finally announce something we’ve been working on for a year – a skincare-infused highlighter to leave you feeling both glowing and moisturized! With skin-loving hyaluronic acid – find my collab with @facesbeautymiddleeast in stores & online”.

With the help of Wow Beauty Forwards – an upcoming makeup brand – Ascia’s Liquid Gems  Highlighter Drops provides makeup enthusiasts a glowing finish with a formula that “not only protects but also nourishes skin”. You can visit Faces’s website or their offline store to purchase the product.

Collaborations between makeup influencers and cosmetic brands are nothing new and are here to stay for 2021. Companies like Morphe have achieved phenomenal brand awareness by collaborating with YouTube makeup stars such as James Charles. Even non-makeup creators –  such as TikTok stars Charlie and Dixie D’amelio – have been strategically approached by cosmetic companies to be the face of their brands.

From this, it is clear that makeup companies are trying to capitalize on influencer fanbases – who put a great deal of trust into the people they follow.
