Karen Wazen Bakhazi – a Dubai-based Lebanese influencer and entrepreneur – has bagged yet another Vogue fashion campaign – this time with Prada. On February 25th at 5 PM GST, the Italian fashion house introduced their Fall/Winter 2021 Womenswear Collection which was designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
Bakhazi posted a picture of her Prada campaign on her Instagram account – where she is pictured wearing a sleeveless, purple pantsuit from the Prada SS 2021 Womenswear collection.
In 2016, Karen Wazen launched her blog Karen’s Choice – which shares her journey with motherhood and as well as her life passions – which include travelling, fashion, food and home decor. With the help of her blog, she quickly gained popularity on Instagram and has gained an audience of 5.5 million Instagram followers. Karen has also added CEO and Founder to her long list of accomplishments – with her boutique eye-wear brand being worn by influencers such as Addison Rae, Camila Coehlo and Maya Henry.
Moreover, Prada is not the first luxury label to approach this acclaimed influencer. Her large social media presence and personality have been recognized by Dior Beauty and Cartier and have scored her other opportunities with Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia and ELLE Arabia.
Karen Wazen’s inspiring path is an example of the power that influencers hold across a diverse range of industries and that luxury labels – in particular – recognize the increasing connection between influencer marketing and a fashion brand’s success.
