Popular audio app Clubhouse announced their first Creator Accelerator Program during their town hall meeting – a Clubhouse audio event where recent updates and announcements are shared. The company announced that they would be choosing 20 creators to mentor on their platform – helping them to build an audience, to monetize their content, and to connect with brands. Clubhouse will also provide these creators essential equipment to create content, collaboration support to connect creators with other guests on the app, and “deep dive concept development” to help creators create dynamic and engaging speaking topics.
Clubhouse shared via Twitter information about their ‘Clubhouse Creator First’ program, welcoming creators to send in their application:
“We are launching our first creator accelerator program, Clubhouse Creator First. We are looking to support and equip 20 creators w/ resources they need to bring their ideas and creativity to life”.

Paul Davidson – the co-founder of Clubhouse – shared additional information about the program:
“It will start off as a three-month program and our goals are really three-fold: to help you make your shows amazing, to help you learn how to promote them and to help you get paid as a creator”.
Creators can send in their application – accompanied by a 3 minute sample audio recording – before March 31st. Apart from the launch of the ‘Clubhouse Creator First’ program, Clubhouse also announced new app features during the Townhall: users will now be able to share links from their profile, invite news users by phone number, and filter rooms by language.
Clubhouse’s new mentorship-focused program puts the app one step ahead of its competitors: by focusing on crafting extraordinary talent, Clubhouse is helping itself win the content game. The launch of the program may also be a strategically timed move – with the app potentially releasing the Android-version of the app to the public soon.
