Well – we are here to help. If you are an active Snapchat user – then you probably know that Snapchat notifies a friend every single time you screenshot one of their messages. With a motto of ‘what happens on the Internet stays on the Internet’, Snapchat tries to keep user conversations as transparent and carefree as possible.
Over the years, Snapchat has cracked down on various attempts to hack its stubborn screenshot notification feature. However, we’ve managed to find a method that still works.
Just follow these steps and see for yourself:
- Switch on Airplane Mode on your device before you open Snapchat
- Once Airplane Mode is activated, open Snapchat and take a screenshot of the snap you want
- Proceed to uninstall Snapchat from your device
- Switch off the Airplane Mode
- Go to the App Store or Play Store to reinstall Snapchat
- Login and you’ve got the screenshot without your friend getting notified
We recommend testing out the hack with a close friend first to ensure that your device and snapchat version will support these steps.
