Popular TikToker Josh Richards has recently signed with the talent agency ICM Partners to represent him.
At the age of 16, Richards rose to fame on Musical.ly (now known as TikTok) for his smooth transition, lip-sync and live stream videos. He eventually released his first single “Still Softish” – which has over 100 million streams – and co-created the popular TikTok group SwayHouse.
Richards currently has 24.4 million followers and a staggering 1.6 billion likes on TikTok: due to his reach, Richards has become the fifth highest paid content creator on TikTok – earning himself $1.5 million in 2020.
Richards has also ventured into the world of business: he co-founded TalentX Entertainment – a Management and Production company targeting TikTok Creators – and is an investor and Chief Strategy Officer for short-form video app Triller. Richards has also co-founded the beverage company Ani Energy and is the CEO and co-founder of production company CrossCheck Studios.
Moreover – with the support of his fans – Richards has raised $60 million to help eliminate food scarcity and $200K to support small businesses during Covid. He also donated $40K to four underprivileged school students to help them for tuition.
At just 19 – Richards has accomplished far more than people 2-3x his age. We are excited to see what the young influencer does next.
