Ludwig Ahgren has completed a groundbreaking month-long subathon – which saw the gamer host Twitch live streams around the clock for a record 31 days. It’s safe to say that we’ve all been through an emotional rollercoaster watchingAhgren’s entire subathon.

The subathon initially began on March 14 and aimed to break American game streamer Ninja’s subscription record of 269,154. Ahgren has achieved multiple milestones since the subathon’s inception which include the most subscribed streamer on Twitch and the most viewed channel on Twitch. He has also earned an approximate $140,000 within the first three days of his subathon, trended on Twitter worldwide more than twice, and broke Ninja’s record with over 274,000 subscribers.

During his 31-day streak, fans helped Ludwig trend worldwide on Twitter. After successfully finishing his subathon, he bid goodbye to his Twitch viewers – who praised the gamer for his groundbreaking feat. Popular streamers such as Ninja and Valkyrae also congratulated Ahgren on his historic record and his dedication towards his fans:

Ahgren also promised to donate a part of his subscription proceeds of his final subathon day to non profit organizations such as Humane Society and St. Jude’s. He also donated a dollar for every sub he received since the start of his subathon to ‘No Kid Hungry’ – a US organization that fights against food scarcity amongst children.
