Tik Tok just released a new update to help the better user experience. The app now allows you to preview what your video would look like when placed on the “For You Page” of another user. When you press your finger over the ‘Preview’ option on the top of the screen, it displays what the video is going to look like when it goes live.
New! TikTok has a handy new ‘Preview’ feature
It allows you to see how much of your description text encroaches on the visible area (also so you can check if the right hand icons cover any important bits)

The update is simple but effective. The intentions behind the update are that it can help users assure that the text, or part of the video, are not being covered by the captions when the video is published. Oftentimes, users will add text to their Tik Toks that cannot be read by other users because of either the caption or the like, share, and comment buttons covering it. However, with this new update users can avoid this frustration by previewing their video prior to sharing.
