WhatsApp just saved people a lot of time with its new update. The popular app just added new variable: playback speed control options for audio replies.

The usage of this feature is fairly simple. You can now play your voice notes at the normal 1x speed, a 1.5x speed, or a speedy 2x speed. As you press play on a voice message, the playback speed emerges (which is set to 1x by default). Touch the speed to increase the speed to 1.5x or 2x. Then simply press play!
In a statement, WhatsApp shared, “These days we need all the time-saving tips and tricks we can find. This is why voice messages on WhatsApp are a particularly useful tool for people short on time, who are multitasking, or who have friends and family in different time zones.”
