Devon Lee Carlson – a American fashion influencer and co-founder of Wildflower Cases – has collaborated with Marc Jacobs to launch their latest collection on Carlson’s birthday, August 3. Their latest collection includes a slip dress, oversized tee, purse, shorts, zip hoodie and sweatpants.

Marc Jacob’s team revealed how Carlson’s unique skills made her the perfect choice for the new Y2K revival-inspired capsule collection:

“Devon’s innate sense of style, creativity, and youthful spirit have made her a close friend and muse in the world of Marc Jacobs. Having successfully partnered with her in the past on a limited-edition t-shirt, it was only natural for this relationship to evolve into a capsule collection designed to appeal to and flatter the range of young people in her audience.”

Carlson shared her excitement over the new collection and how the luxury brand Marc Jacobs has always been special to her:

“The Marc Jacobs brand has such a special place in my heart. My first designer purchase was a Marc Jacobs wallet. Marc Jacobs himself is an icon and major inspiration to me. To get this opportunity and have my name next to his on a tag was just beyond my wildest dreams. It was important to me to design a collection that was wearable for any circumstance. I took a lot of color references from Marc’s spring and summer 2002 collection. I had so much fun deep diving for inspo.”
