After 16 years, Dubai-based discount behemoth The Entertainer will be finally getting rid of the paperback version of its product, streamlining its offerings into one big digital package via the Entertainer App.
Now, if you’re one of the legions of thrifty UAE savers currently utilising the product, you’ve probably already relegated your hefty Entertainer book to the underside your coffee table, relying on the (far easier to put in your pocket), smartphone app, anyway right?
But, as of the end of this month (October 25) next year’s 2018 Entertainer will only be available to purchase through the website or the app, at a discounted price until the end of November.
“As we’ve transitioned from print to digital we’ve learned so much about our customers and how they like to use the ,” says the Entertainer’s founder and chairman Donna Benton, this morning. “The insights we get from app users means that we’ve been able to constantly adapt and improve our products based on their behaviours and preferences. This year we’re launching the best Entertainer products yet, with more features than ever before – so there really are even more ways to save in 2018.”
Next year’s offering will expand on the Entertainer’s usual restaurant, product, and hotel discounts, with two new categories; a Fashion & Retail section with ‘Spend & Save’ offers from a number of leading retailers, and an ‘Everyday Services’ section, with 50% off popular services providers such as home cleaning. Result.
