In their latest article on 50 of the most influential women in Saudi Arabia, Arabian Business sparked the attention of influencers on twitter. The alphabetically ranked list comprises of women with an economic, social and humanitarian background who have achieved the highest level of positions in their industry and role.

His excellency, Turki AlAlshikh, a Saudi Royal Court Advisor, Chairman of GEA SA (General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia), and owner of UD Almeria, took to Twitter, posting an image of the 50 most influential women. He’s caption, translated from Arabic to English says, ‘I worked with Princess Reema, Shehana and Hanan, all of them, and yes, the girls raised their heads. Proud of Saudi Arabia.’ With 5.3 million followers on Twitter, this tweet inspired many of his followers with 329 retweets, 52 quotes and 1844 likes. The support of Turki AlAlshikh mentioning several of the influential women is progression towards women being inclusive and heard within the region.

Saudi Exchange, with over 200K followers also reposted the article with the tweeting ‘Women leaders to be proud of, Nawal Al-Jawini, Director of the General Department of Cash Trading, was included in the list of the 50 most influential women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Arabian Business.’ This was followed by a link to the article on the Arabian Business website.
