Snapchat has newly released Bitmoji Tennis, an in-app game that lets users play against each other online.
This is the newest development to mobile gaming feature, Snap Games, which was rolled out earlier this year.
Users can play the Snapchat game using their personalised avatar based on their Snapchat Bitmoji. You can challenge your friends to matches and can even organise group tournaments!
Keep losing terribly to your friends? Don’t worry, there’s even an option to practice on your own to improve your online tennis skills!
Linking the social media network to a gaming platform already is and will continue to be lucrative for Snapchat especially as it engages its younger audience.Â
Not only are there in-app purchases that allow gamers to upgrade their tennis equipment, but the app will also surely have place for brands to buy advertising space.
There could even be the option for brands to sponsor games much like real life tennis tournaments such as Wimbledon.
