5 Fashionista Duos on Instagram You Need To Follow

From the catwalk to the high street, it’s double trouble for these fashion duos

5 Fashionista Duos on Instagram You Need To Follow

Scrolling on Instagram, saving #OOTD posts, sharing pieces we like via DM with our friends… fashionistas love a good fashion account and coming across them within their feed.

But if there’s anything we love more than stalking a fashion influencer’s feed it’s fashion duo on the ‘gram.

Whether it’s #couplegoals within a Story or coming across an account that makes you want to co-ordinate outfits with your best friend, there certainly is something iconic about fashion duos.

From Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss to Mary-Kate and Ashley (and even Justin Timberlake and Britney – double denim reigns supreme!) our obsession even falls back to duo’s when one was “behind the scenes” and the other the muse: think Hubert Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn to Jean Paul Gaultier and Madonna.

From the red carpet to street style, there seems to be something magical we love about having two identities side-by-side, be that co-ordinated or colour clashing.

Here are five Instagram accounts you should be following, if you’re up for a double dose of fashion inspiration.

Sarah Ellis and Philippa Bloom (@wearetwinset)

These two stylists are best friends and both work in the London fashion industry, Sarah and Philippa combine high street and high end pieces into a wearable aesthetic, that has us saving their posts on the daily.

Simplicity is their key; floaty dresses or trousers and tee, their outfits are all easily recreated and are styled for comfort too. Their individual accounts are just as chic, but with more of a personal touch.

The Dadon Sisters (@howtwolive)

These Aussie sisters are as smart as they are stylish and are also the founders of @TWOOB, a shoe brand which showcased at NYFW, which designs are just as bright and bold as their own outfits.

Their outfits will have you scrolling endlessly through their feed, makes you wish you had a twin (if you don’t have one that is) to recreate some of their clashing combos. Not only this but they are on a mission to create a powerful inspiring community, have launched a grant program for start-up businesses. Talk about serious #goals on so many levels.

The sneak-ret is out, the TWOOBS Sneaky is coming Getting to share a project with the world after you’ve worked on it for 2+ years is what being an entrepreneur is all about for us. Being able to launch it somewhere you’ve shopped your whole life is even better! On June 27 our sneaker will launch at a pop up at @davidjonesstore Chadstone, join us from 6pm – 9pm, follow our bio link for all the details, and head to @twoobs to see them up close in all their Sneaky glory. We’ve had people sad to hear we’re doing sneakers rather than more sandals () While it’s left us wondering if there’s anything one could announce to the internet without receiving negativity, to those people we say: porque no los dos? We’re working on lots of newness in our sandals too of course! Building a brand is a journey, and now that we’ve seen how much people love footwear that’s fashion-forward, comfy, and animal friendly, we’re working on expanding the range! This is just a sneaky next step. We’ve also had a lot of questions from people on how you get to do a pop up at a department store like David Jones, so we’re thinking we may have to sit down and record a podcast ep on it – if it’s something you’re interested in hearing about let us know! One more thing before Instagram bans us for over indulgent captions: this pic appeared in @urbanlistmelb last month, and we managed to get it through with no one picking up on the fact that we were wearing the Sneaky. Sneaky, right? Thanks to @michellejarni for this awesome shot!

Jo and Kemp (@joandkemp)

These childhood sweethearts have become a husband and wife tandem.

With a love of travel and capturing their life moments, this couples feed is so visually aesthetic. Pastel presets combined with outfit, travel and couple shots is clearly an equation that works. Their love for life is contagious; if you’re married, you’ll likely be trying to convince your other half to create something similar.

Their style rarely enters into the darker palette, preferring bright colour and neutrals, occasionally clashing, but mainly co-ordinating this duo is #goals.

Corianna and Brianna Dotson (@cocoandbreezy)

Forget everything you thought you knew about outfit inspiration, this duo are on another level. Their experimental and androgynous style is captured in street-style posts.

However, the twins don’t just dress well; they are DJ’s, producers, content creators and the founders of Coco and Breezy Eyewear, which often feature in their posts. Leather and denim along with statement accessories, a generally dark palette with an occasional pop of colour and clashing prints prove that these twins know how to express themselves in the way they dress.

Cipriana Quann and TK Wonder (@urbanbushbabes)

Defying the boundaries of the ‘All-American’ beauties, Cipriana and TK wonder use the power of social media to encourage inclusiveness – self-awareness and self-love.

Their style? Dramatic, edgy, yet still classic. Cipriana is the cofounder and Editor-in-Chief of Urban Bush Babes, a blog which supports diversity through fashion, beauty and lifestyle. TJ Wonder is executive contributor of the blog and she’s also a singer/songwriter. This duo’s style combined with their incredible hair are sure to have you scrolling to the very end of their feed.

We (@ciprianaquann @tk_wonder) have always felt fortunate to be twins and just not twins but identical twins. There is a very special bond we share, so special it is sometimes difficult to elucidate with words. As close as our bond is with each other, the road to our ancestral roots/family history is still new territory and something we wanted to further explore. Which is why we teamed up with @23andMe. Unlike other DNA services that offer only ancestral findings 23andMe not only offers Ancestry Service, but their Health + Ancestry Service examines your genes to tell you about your ancestry, health, and traits. A “Personal Genetic Service®” , created to help people understand their DNA. You'll be able to see which regions around the world your ancestors come from and learn how your DNA can influence your facial features, hair, taste preferences, sleep quality and much more. Visit UrbanBushBabes.com to learn more about our experience and how easy it is to discover 23andMe for yourself.
