Yep, you read that right!
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie announced that he will be quitting YouTube for a short time and taking a break in 2020.
PewDiePie, who is based in UK, has the second biggest number of subscribers on YouTube.
The good news is that while PewDiePie is quitting YouTube, it will only be for a short break.
According to Esquire Middle East, PewDiePie explained “I wanted to say it in advance because I made up my mind. I’m tired, I’m feeling very tired. I don’t know if you can tell. Just so you know, early next year I’ll be away for a little while. I’ll explain that later but I wanted to give a heads up.”
He broke the news in a recent video on his YouTube channel.
He previously remarked in a video in August“. . . I do think it would be good for me to take a break at some point. It would be nice to not have YouTube in my brain for the first time in 10 years.”
We surely have mixed feelings about this, he does deserve this break for his well-being but all of his subscribers are going miss his videos all year long.
See you soon PewDiePie…we can’t wait for 2021!
