EA Sports, a part of Electronic Arts that develop sports video games, has launched their highly-anticipated trailer of the upcoming FIFA 22. The new edition comes with a new “HyperMotion” system available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S or Google Stadia.
The HyperMotion system provides players with an efficient machine learning algorithm to provide real time animations:
“HyperMotion technology enabled the integration of the first-ever motion capture of 22 professional footballers playing at high intensity. Additionally, EA’s proprietary machine learning algorithm learns from more than 8.7 million frames of advanced match capture, then writes new animations in real time to create organic football movement across a variety of interactions on the pitch.”
The sole cover star for the all-new FIFA 22 is popular French footballer Kylian Mbappé who has been chosen for a second time in a row. Mbappé shared his excitement on representing new generation footballers:
“Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honored to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honor with.”
FIFA 22 is set to release on October 1 with pre-order of the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition currently available until August 11.
