Dubai Bling x Bling Empire
Dubai Bling is and has been the talk of the town since the first series was out on Netflix in October 2022. The show was rated as the top 10 most popular shows, not just in the region, but worldwide. As we stepped off the private jets with the cast, we landed into the high-flying social circle in Dubai seeing the extravagant parties, picture-perfect skylines, and incomparable fashion sense.
In 2021, before Dubai Bling blessed our TV screens (you hate that you love it), there was an American TV series released on Netflix called Bling Empire. Similar to Dubai Bling, the show was based on wealthy East and Southeast Asian American socialists based in LA who are described as the real-life “Crazy Rich Asians.”
Who is Kane Lim?
One of the main cast members of the Bling Empire reality television show was an influencer, socialite, and investment firm founder, Kane Lim. With 1M followers on Instagram, Kane was known for his outgoing personality on the show, but also remembering how he caught himself in a lot of drama with co-stars.
Although there were mixed feelings about Kane on the show, he did land himself a collaboration with Fenty Beauty. Working on a shoot for Rihanna’s brand changed Kane’s life on screen and professionally, opening doors to work with other brands as an influencer.
About the Collection: B.L.I.N.G
BLING which stands for ‘because life is not guaranteed,’ is a clothing line launched by Kane and includes the cast members from Dubai Bling showcasing their own designs. Ebraheem Al Samadi aka The Blooming Man and owner of the Instagrammable cafe Forever Rose, launched his look using his trademark black and white colours for his clothing. When asked about his designs, Ebraheem replied “I like things simple. When I go on holiday or packing my bag, I like being minimal and packing minimal things.” Ebraheem also mentioned wanting to launch his own line, but when the opportunity came up to collaborate, he was ready to get involved as each BLING item sold, is directly connected with a social and charitable cause.
The simple yet chic look complimented Ebraheem’s signature style and was a hit with those who viewed the collection. He also showed off the brown-coloured silky satin shirt with matching shorts, which were most probably inspired by his delicious chocolate cakes!
Danya aka The Diva Dee from Dubai Bling, also showed her custom designs. Danya added a unique touch to her comfortable casual clothing with BYD, her own brand’s logo to her BLING line. Danya not only created designs for adults but also a children’s line, having two children of her own with her husband DJ Bliss. The red, green, white, and black lace on the hoody “represents the UAE flag” says Danya. She continued “That was important to me, to incorporate this into the design.”
Last but not least, DJ Bliss was at the forefront of the launch with his bright and colourful BLING collection. Matching his exuberant personality, and infectious beats, Bliss used block orange colours for one design and lime for another. Each collection reflected and paid tribute to each of the casts’ signature styles and was a hit with those who came to view the launch inside Nakheel Mall.

Nakheel Mall was filled with fans, admires, and shoppers who stopped by the Bauhaus store and visited DJ Bliss, Danya, Ebraheem, and Kane. DJ Sonya was spinning on the decks outside the store providing entertainment with her cool vibe and uplifting beats getting the crowd pumped as they walked in and out.
