Instagram Is Rolling Out a New Create Mode

Time to get a whole lot more creative with your Insta-Stories

Instagram Is Rolling Out a New Create Mode

Instagram is looking to further tap into the popularity of Stories which has led them to adding a “new Stories @ mention option,” that highlights any Stories that mention a profile, and enables you to easily re-share them into your own Stories stream.

The new feature Create gives you new ways to share content on Instagram Stories…

The new option (@ symbol) in the Create mode options as you slide it will ask if you want to ‘See all 3’ at the top of the screen, you’re taken through to a display of thumbnails of Stories frames which mention your profile. You can re-share them into your own Stories feed.

According to Social Media Today, “…the option could be great for brands looking to showcase relevant mentions, which could include customer feedback, endorsements, influencer marketing partnerships, etc.”

It may be a great tool for brands to monitor how their clients react, but again we are unsure who has access to this feature is it business and creator accounts or all Instagram users. I guess we are just going to have to wait and find out.

According to 9to5 Mac, Instagram described its new Create features as “This new mode helps you combine interactive stickers, drawings and text without needing a photo or video to share.”

Social Media expert Matt Navarra has reviewed the feature for you to find out more:

It’s interesting to see if Create mode option is helpful for brands, to amplifying customer experience and capture fan mentions.

As of today, Instagram is about more than photos and videos. It’s stepping up towards the direction of being a business lifeboat through new feature for the app.
