Great news for online shopping enthusiasts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Amazon has announced the launch of Amazon.sa, a dedicated online store to serve the needs of the nation.

Shoppers in KSA will be able to buy and browse products from both local and international sellers including products which will also be available from Amazon US.
The Amazon.sa site offers Arabic and English, on both the shopping app and on the website. It will also offer customer support in both languages.

Additionally, free next day delivery is available to shoppers who spend above SAR 200 (Dh195) in orders.
In selected areas of Saudi Arabia, there will also be an option of paid same-day delivery.
The site has entireley rebranded, meaning shoppers who go to Souq.com will be automatically redirected to Amazon.sa.
“All existing Souq.com customer credentials, wish lists, orders, delivery addresses, payment methods and customer support queries have been converted to new Amazon.sa accounts,” Amazon said a statement.
Amazon Prime has not yet been introduced however an Amazon spokesperson has said that the company plans on expanding their offerings in the coming months.
