Troye Sivan and Tate McRae have released their latest single ‘You’ in collaboration with DJ Regard. The single is currently at the top of the U.S charts at Pop Radio for a consecutive week and has had 10+ million streams on Spotify since its initial release.
Sivan and MrRae have both had phenomenal success in their careers since their humble YouTube beginnings. A child-singing prodigy, Sivan began his YouTube journey in late 2012, posting covers of popular songs and collaborating with other well-known content creators such as Tyler Oakley and Zoe Sugg. In 2013, Sivan signed a record deal with EMI Australia to release his extended play record TRXYE – which debuted at No.1 across 50 countries.
McRae – on the other hand – went viral on YouTube in 2017 after posting her original song “One Day” to her channel and was subsequently signed by RCA Records in 2019. McRae’s single “You Broke Me First” also became a huge hit – with multiple YouTube and TikTok personalities such as Conor Maynard and Tayler Holder uploading covers of the song. Most notably, McRae became the youngest musician to ever feature on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2020.
