We have listed below 10 bucket-list locations that influencers must visit in order to detox, relax, wind down, and of course, get Insta-worthy content for their followers to ogle on.
Iceland: Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon
Rather than using a bright ring-light to light-up your background, snuggle up in your warmest outfit and let nature run it’s course and paint the perfect picture behind you. The Nothern Lights in Iceland is a famous spot for millions of people to go to. Whether or not you like the cold, the views and nature will never disappoint you – it’s worth the frost bite!
Portugal: Azores
When people think of Portugal, they think of the common spots such as Lisbon, Faro, Porto, Braga, etc. But not many people know about the little island part of Portugal called the Azores. Azores sits on the West side of Lisbon and was formed from nine volcanic islands and, is a destination for adventurers. Explore new places, new people, and new cultures as you discover something different the more you wander.
Japan: Chureito Pagoda, Yamanashi
There is not one place in Japan where you wouldn’t find an Instagramable shot, however, we chose Chreito Pagoda, Yamanashi as the bucket-list place to go. Although it is not in the center city surrounded by neon bright lights and the “Tokyo Drift” style atmosphere, Chureito has culture, nature, and all the above. Sit and daydream as you have the traditional Pagoda in view, the iced-capped mountain in the distance, and the beautiful cherry blossom trees in between. No, it’s not a photoshopped picture, it’s real!
Thailand: Bangkok Floating Marketings
Getting back into the city, we have added Bangkok to the bucket list. Thailand has incredible places that are all picturesque, but the street markets are so unique, combining the essence of culture, art, street, and color all in one. Grab a few bargains while you travel on a boat from market to market.
Slovenia: Lake Bled
This small lake in Slovenia has all the ingredients for a perfect getaway and mind-blowing views. Notice the little castle perched in the middle with a ginormous mountain in the back, there is so much to do surrounding the island including hiking, sitting and enjoying a picnic or evening swimming in the lakes.
Morocco: Chefchaouen
If you want something close to home, Morocco will make you feel warm with its multiple attractions, diverse cultures, historical sites, and beautiful traditions. Chefchaouen is a city in the Rif mountains and you will find it is blue-washed as soon as you enter. It is undoubtedly the best place to visit in Morocco, that is if your favourite colour is blue!
Philippines: Enchanted Hinuatan River
The enchanted river in the Philippines is also known as the sacred river with crystal waters surrounded by fresh greenery straight from the jungle book. Dive head first and see what discoveries you make under the mystical waters. The saltwater will make your skin feel renewed as you float on top and travel further into the Pacific ocean.
Arizona: Antelope Canyon
Lose yourself in The Grand Canyon of Arizona, the Antelope Canyon. For outdoor adventurers, this is perfect for you to experience the rock formations that have a natural wonder about them.
Turkey: Cappadocia
This may (or may not) be an obvious one, but we wanted to include it as you may have been the images up online but not know where it is. The famous hot air balloon pictures are the shots that everyone wants on their gram as a Reel or picture as they look amazing. These pictures are taken in Cappadocia located in Turkey and are a famous spot for images. Follow the hashtag #Cappadocia on Insta to get some inspiration before your trip!
New Zealand: Waitomo Glow-worm Caves
New Zealand is already full of wonder, but when you add a glow-worm cave into the mix, then it does step things up that little more. What you thought would be a relaxing boat ride on the river, soon turns into a trip of a lifestyle where you will be amazed once you enter the Waitomo caves. Your path will light up with the help of glowworms inspiring you to use all your senses and be completely in the moment.
