The recent developments in Kevin Costner’s divorce case with his wife Christine Baumgartner suggest that the judge also agrees with Costner’s legal team that the alleged couple’s prenuptial agreement is valid and enforceable, providing Baumgartner a month to vacate their marital home in Santa Barbara, California.
The prenup agreement states that Baumgartner has a month to vacate the premises if either partner files for divorce. Although she appears to have passed the original deadline, the judge set a new deadline of July 31 for her to vacate the premise or else she would be legally moved out.
As soon as the orders were confirmed his attorney posted on Twitter:
Court orders Christine Costner to move out by July 31 of Kevin Costner’s home. Things move fast in Judge Anderle’s court in Santa Barbara.

About Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner
Kevin Michael Costner is an American actor, producer, film director, and musician. He has received various accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
On the other hand, his alleged wife is a 49-year-old handbag designer. Christine’s label is called Cat Bag Couture, and her stylish laptop bags are available in boutiques near the couples’ ranch in Aspen.
The couple married in 2004 and share children Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12. Costner was previously married to Cindy Costner from 1978 to 1994, with whom he shares children Annie, 39, Lily, 36, and Joe, 35. He also has a son Liam, 27, with former partner Bridget Rooney.
Claiming that the couple had a rough phase, Christine filed for a divorce after 18 years of marriage on May 2, addressing their issues as “irreconcilable differences” and requesting joint custody of their three children.
To sweeten the deal, Kevin offered her a $10,000 advance for moving costs and $30,000 per month for a rental house as part of his child support obligations. But despite Baumgartner filing for divorce over two months ago, she has not willingly left the lavish home saying she would leave the house on her own terms.
Baumgartner was also pictured looking somber in Santa Barbara, California, on Wednesday as she made her way to and from the first court hearing in the couple’s already-rancorous divorce.
How did the divorce drama escalate?
Meet Hollywood’s Most Eligible Bachelor, Kevin Costner who became a bachelor again at 68. The actor’s representative confirmed the news, sharing, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action. We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
The separation between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner has not been given on good terms as despite being married for 18 years, the problems surrounding the actor’s providing for his children have caused great outrage as he is currently paying $248K per month of child support.
Claiming that the amount of money he is providing seems exorbitant, so much so, he suggested his ex-wife is abusing that money to spend on alleged plastic surgeries she undergoes.
Costner claimed earlier this month that his ex was refusing to budge and was making financial demands before agreeing to move out. However, Baumgartner argued that she had every right to stay since there was no legal basis for Costner to kick her out, despite the premarital agreement.
The court on Wednesday, officially gave her one month’s notice to vacate the premise and gives a hint that their prenup agreement is still binding.
