FaZe Clan Go Public In Major Esports Milestone

Could this be the first $1 billion esports company?

FaZe Clan Go Public In Major Esports Milestone

Leading gaming, lifestyle and media platform FaZe Clan will become a public company and is expected to have a valuation of $1 billion. Created for Gen Z and Millennial generations, FaZe Clan has a social reach of 350 million with the purpose of the platform based around entertaining and innovative digital content. Their first Saudi member, Virus, with 562K subscribers on YouTube, 308K on Instagram, 229K on Twitch, and 23K on TikTok was introduced as a content creator on the platform.

The company is no stranger to innovation. At ITP’s Digital Games Conference earlier this year, we heard from FaZe VIRUS, the esports team’s first Saudi-based member. He discussed the growth in esports across the MENA region and shared his thoughts on what it means to be part of one of the world’s most recognised Esports organisations.

Virus joined an already-impressive roster of celebrity personalities like NBA star Ben Simmons, Lebron “Bronny” JamesJr, NFL quaterback Kyler Murray and Lil Yachty. Joining a team of influential, world-class gamers on a global level will give him further exposure and open up opportunities for his wider brand. You can watch the full session here.

Digital Games Conference is the leading games industry conference across the Middle East and Africa. Find out more about our upcoming KSA event in December via dgcmea.com.
