2. Kingdom Tower

Wouldn’t be complete without a massive tower to try and fit in a selfie, and standing at 302.3 m, this one’s the third tallest in the country after the Burj Rafal and the Abraj Al Bait Towers.  But in addition to its structural magnificence, the center is host to a mall featuring some of the most luxurious brands in the region and the famed sky bridge.

3. The Mountain City of Ta’if

At an elevation of 1,879 meters, the mountain city of ta’if is a serene and beautiful agricultural land. One that draws tourists from around the world during their famed rose festival, held annually in March.

4. Rub’ al Khali Aka The Empty Quarter

Don’t let its alias fool you, the second largest sea of sand in the world is awe-inspiring in its silence and tranquility. Not to mention the perfect place for that obligatory sun set shot.

5. Al Shallal Theme Park

Roller coasters, games, and a silk museum; get amazing shots and have fun doing it.

6. Wadi Hanifa

A desert oasis running through the heart of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, this gorgeous valley is a popular destination for fishing and picnics.

7. Yanbu Lake

With a lush and green landscape straight out of a fairytale, this one’s perfect for the family picnic.

8. Jabal Sawda

While it might take a bit of time getting up there, given it is the highest point in Saudi Arabia (elevated at 3000 m), the out of this world view, is well worth it. The peak is located near Al Souda, a village, and tourist hub as well.
