Fall Fashion
Good things always come to an end, including (unfortunately) summer. And while we don’t have to say goodbye to long days at the beach, ice cream, and sundresses any time soon, it’s never too late to start planning ahead. And so, we bring you some of the most highly anticipated fall fashion trends.

Cool-Girl Mary Janes
Ballet flats are all the rage this year, and Mary Janes offer the same dainty, coquettish vibe that you get with ballet flats. You can wear them in heeled form with elegant or statement dresses, or go full academic and wear the schoolgirl staple with a nice blazer, skirt, or pair of jeans. The heeled shoe has been featured on several runways, including but not limited to Christian Dior’s Fall 2023 Ready to Wear line.
The Power Skirt
We’re saying goodbye to masculine trends in women’s fashion, such as oversized blazers and baggy, wide-leg pants. Instead, we’re saying hello to more feminine forms with iconic corporate skirt suits. Versace is bringing them back in a big way, and you can invest in a tie or a blazer to complete the look.
Big Black Coats
Oh, how we’ve missed you, old friend. There’s something about a black coat that just feels right. You can dust off your old black coat if you have one, and stay in tune with this trend. If not, it’s time to invest in one, and if you do, you’ll surely be wearing it for years to come. You can go with a monochrome look, or mix bright prints into this fall fashion staple to stand out.
The Winter Warmer
Home-spun knitted scarves are always a fan favorite, and this fall they’re coming back! You can go super simple with a muted hue slung casually over one shoulder, or you can go punchier with vibrant autumn hues and prints like plaid and cover up in a drape. Either way, you can’t go wrong with a nice scraf. Plus, if it gets cold, you have a makeshift blanket at hand.
Basic Button Ups
This is another classic you don’t want to give up any time soon because it’s coming back for fall fashion. White shirts are timeless, and you can style themwith jeans, just how Gucci likes them, or opt for a pinstriped style paired with boxers by Bottega Veneta. Either way, they’re going to look amazing because white shirts are so versitile.
Stripes
While most of the trends mentioned so far can be molded to fit a minimalist look, and so can stripes, but this one is as maximalist as it gets. Colorful but also understated stripes shine through many of the fall fashion looks. Christopher John Rogers leads the charge, but Chanel is also likely to inspire some striped looks this fall.
