In an effort to empower creatives, the UAE has introduced a new Golden Visa specifically for content creators and influencers, offering a 10-year residency. This initiative is part of the newly launched “Creators HQ” an innovation hub created to support talent and expand their global presence.
The Program
The program is open to a wide range of creatives, including social media influencers, podcasters, digital content creators, photographers, filmmakers, and visual artists. It also welcomes professionals from the broader creative industry such as marketing agencies, media production houses, animation companies, and lifestyle and fashion brands.
“Our goal is to make the UAE a global hub for creators by offering them the tools, support, and access to investors they need to grow and innovate,” said Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, as reported by Khaleej Times.
The initiative is backed by global platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and X. Participants will receive a range of exclusive benefits including help with Golden Visa applications, assistance with relocation, and support for setting up and registering companies.
Creators HQ aims to attract 10,000 influencers and position the UAE as a top destination for digital media and innovation. The UAE Golden Visa allows eligible individuals to live in the country for 10 years without the need for sponsorship or renewal.
Those working in creative fields from writers and photographers to filmmakers and social media figures are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted via the Creators HQ website. Once reviewed, qualified candidates will receive an endorsement and nomination email with instructions for completing the visa process.
