With all that is happening in the world right now, it is good to know influencers are using their platforms to spread awareness

Influencers show empathy in times of crisis

With the current crisis that has happened in Lebanon yesterday, people around the world have turned to social media to show empathy with the people of Lebanon.

Yesterday a huge explosion occurred in the country’s capital, Beirut, killing some and injuring many. UAE influencers as well as celebrities around the world have taken time to go on social media to show they are standing with Lebanon, raising awareness, and spreading ways to help.

Lebanese influencers Rita Dahdah, Tamara Farra, Lana El Sahely, Dana Hourani, Mr. Moudz and more are using their Instagram to show empathy and spread awareness and ways to help with the current situation. Many more influencers that are not Lebanese but live in the Middle East have also taken time to share their thoughts on social media, including Rima and Dina Zahran, Rania Fawwaz, Hindash and more.

Celebrities around the world including Kylie Jenner, Catherine Mcbroom, Avani Dicaprio, Lori Harvey, Fai Khadra, and many more have taken to Instagram stories and Twitter to share their thoughts and prayers with the world.

In times like these when the world is in crisis, it is nice to know that many of the celebrities that do not live in the Middle East are aware of the situation and are taking the time to educate their hundreds of thousands of followers. Spreading empathy, prayers and awareness for the people of Lebanon is essential at this moment in time.
